ROCKDIZFILE,FALL OF A GIANT

Anybody tried accessing file hosting site  Rockdizfile.com  recently?Well,last time i checked i was met with

this prominent seizure banner.Damn!This is a boost to US efforts in fighting piracy and perceived willful copyright infringement.The domain was seized by ICE over continued willful copyright infringement on artists tracks.Rockdizfile.com)Had built a database of hiphop,rnb&rap songs which were found to be copyrighted.There were even some cases of pre releases on the website and this might have not gone well with some 'players'hence the lawsuits.Remember when righthaven sued over  100 bloggers over a photo,well to make matters worse the blogs were those small ones(not established).Willful copyright infringement is a punishable crime and dont even think of trying it.Always obtain permission  from the owners of the content you want to copyright or rather pay a licensing fee to get the transfer of rights.
     Never think of plagiarising someone's work.You'll be sued to upto half a million in damages.Yes!Its real.Though some bloggers are protected by the 'fair use' doctrine or practice,that's not a valid reason to embedd a copyrighted file onto their website.I rather prefer a sealed permission.
     If you use a copyrighted content (without prior permission) for profitability purposes,that's when it gets serious.In case,the original owners has seens losses at the expense of you the 'pirate',then you're in hot soup.
   In summary,stop willful copyright infringement or the ICE will come for your domain name and post that seizure banner&hefty fines.Stay safe
