CYBER CRIME TO BE CONTAINED

In the wake of cyber related crimes in the country,A draft bill on cybercrime and computer related crimes now makes it illegal to take and distribute pictures of any person without their consent.
 

  A person convicted of the referred offence will be liable to a fine of not less than sh300000 or face a 3 year imprisonment.That's why you've witnessed cases of instagram being sued for upto sh100 million.Plaintiffs questioning how comes their personal pictures being used as memes.Using someones photo as a meme without their consent or in a way of making fun of them can get you sued.That's why in blogs we always give credit.Using photos you dont own copyrights to is highly discouraged.
